The Opportunity To Really Win (Or Lose) Defined, Delineated And Understood

Recently, I found myself in a crisis that made me grapple with the big universal questions of life again, although it was a minor crisis, it felt big. Is that not the way things are in life, though. Things can get so irritatingly miserable at times even though the misery is caused by things that are "not that big of a deal". I came to a soothing conclusion: The only way out is through. Here is how I came to that conclusion: However many short cuts we take to "have it made" or tricks we do with life, like an "ace up our sleeve", payment for what we take is exacted someday and somehow. So, we may as well stay legitimate or not cheating, whatever the cost may be, because we never get away with anything really. Also, we all ultimately have the same luck in life also when it comes down to it, and reality catches up with us all sooner or later, for the "unlucky", sooner. For the lucky, it is definitely later, although when you first 'easily' succeed, it seems like the reality will never catch up. Do not be confused, nothing really is free, it just seems that way if you are initially lucky or "fortunate enough to have success at the beginning" instead of after all the running, working, and reality most success takes. Again, I say with total transparency: The only way out is through, and the only way to legitimately get anything "without strings" is to genuinely earn it and own it yourself fully. The "strings" only happen when you commit "the perfect crime". If you are not suffering outwardly, then your conscience and reality inside suffer knowing what you did, really. Sure, it is hard to be a real winner, but it is ultimately way harder to be a winner that cheated to win and did not get immediately caught or gotten away with it for a long time. Face it, we all love winning for real, but who can really "beat" the totally human desire for the short cut, or the great cheating trick that makes it all easier. Only a few can genuinely win against those impulses and win for real. That is why there are so few winners and so many losers seeking the "easy way out".
